Mochila Alua

Mochilas are produced in Colombia by craftsmen from ancient tribes. It is part of their culture to weave with the crochet technique. Every mochila is made of hundreds of knots with a cotton thread. It takes about 3 days to weave a mochila.
All the designs have a symbolic in the Wayuu culture. Women express themselves thank recognizable symbols on the bags. Every bag is unique because craftsmen always put their little touch.
